Previous Red Bull team boss Christian Horner is allegedly "ringing up pretty much every team owner" as he seeks a re-entry to F1, as stated by Aston Martin chief executive officer Andy Cowell.

Aston Martin is among the teams that are connected to the ex-boss.

The team executive mentioned he had verified the situation with team owner Lawrence Stroll recently at the Singapore Grand Prix.

"It looks as though Christian is getting in touch with most team bosses at the moment," stated the executive.

"I can clearly say there are no plans for the engagement of Christian in an operational or investment role in the future."

Further Organizations Respond

Haas chief Ayao Komatsu stated that Horner had "approached" the American squad but continued: "Things haven't advanced. The matter is closed."

Alpine top official Steve Nielsen stated the team's executive adviser and acting leader Flavio Briatore was "longtime companions" with the ex-boss.

The team official added: "I have no knowledge what they discuss. All I can confirm is there are no arrangements for Christian to arrive at Alpine but that doesn't mean it couldn't occur."

The historic British team team principal James Vowles stated that Horner had not contacted them.

"We're content with the organization we have and it's functioning," the team principal said. "I see no justification to modify it."

Historical Information

The ex-Red Bull chief is able to come back Formula 1 by the second half of the coming year after finalising a severance package with his former team on the 22nd of September.

The veteran motorsport figure was let go as the team's leader after the Silverstone race in summer.

Multiple sources at Red Bull have revealed the settlement package was estimated at 60m euros (52 million pounds).
