Helicopter Spins Uncontrollably into Palm Fronds at Well-Known Southern California Shoreline
A chopper hovering over a well-attended California shoreline abruptly commenced twirling wildly, eventually dropping height and plunging into a cluster of palm trees as onlookers observed.
Footage shared on the internet capture the helicopter commencing to spiral above the shoreline then falling towards the edge of the shore, where it becomes wedged amidst palm trees and a set of stairs near the shoreline route.
Emergency Response Update
The Huntington Beach fire department reported five people were rushed to the hospital including a pair who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the incident on that day.
Three people on the road were injured. Specifics on their wounds were not immediately available.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.

Authorities indicated the helicopter was connected to an yearly “Cars N Copters” fundraising event set for Sunday.
